Riad in Marrakech
Riad Kenzo is located in the heart of Marrakech’s medina, just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Djemaa-el-Fna Square. It has a rooftop terrace, plunge pool and Hammam.
Each guest room is uniquely decorated, mixing traditional Moroccan and contemporary styles. They are equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and feature a tiled bathroom.
The riad’s restaurant serves traditional Moroccan cuisine and guests can dine on the rooftop terrace. There is also a bar where guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
In addition to a Hammam, Riad Kenzo provides a range of massages and beauty treatments.
We stayed for 3 nights at the riad, which gave us easy access to the souk and attractions in the medina. Fatima and Ayoub were very nice hosts and gave us lots of tips for our time in Marrakech. We really liked the way they made the mint tea, so I would give it a try if you visit. There is good thought put into how the rooms are decorated and the riad has a homely and traditional feel.

Very cozy Riad located in the medina, north from Jamaa el Fna square. The location is simply perfect: 10 mins walking distance from Jamaa el Fna, 5 mins from a place where you can take a taxi, restaurants, shops, souk market. Other interesting places in the area are Madrasa, Musee de la Photographie.Rooms are essentials and comfy, always clean. Nice patio with a very small swimming pool (impossible to be used probably until summer) where they serve a huge breakfast in the morning, absolutely a plus of this place: omelette, cake, moroccan pancake, butter, jam, mint tea, coffee, orange juice..An other plus of this riad is the terrace, where you can enjoy a drink, waiting for the sunset and the muezzin calling for pray.Big up to the staff, especially Fatima that is very kind in every single way.Only cons is lack of wi-fi.
London
Very welcoming, especially Oussama and Fati who were friendly and helpful. Quiet even though it is in the Souks. Lovely roof terrace. Ate one evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Beware, sound carries so you can hear what is going on in others rooms! We got lost the first night as the alley way leading to the Riad is hard to miss. Take some photos of the stalls/cafe nearby to use on your return.
Riyadh
We loved it! Beautiful Riad in the heart of Marrakech with kind, friendly, helpful and polite staff. We enjoyed our stay from beginning till the end. Lovely clean room with comfortable beds, beautiful terrace, stunning view, traditional local dinner made by Shaqira the best food we tried in Marrakech, hammam, massage..everything was just perfect! We would like to thank Fati and the rest of the staff who made our stay in Marrakech so great!
Lohja
Friendly staff and great service, very basic room but clean. Breakfast was adequate. Our room located in the ground floor next to the breakfast area and when people walked by or sat in the breakfast area, maybe they were able to hear us (and see us if window open). We ordered airport transfer and it worked well. There are a few restaurants nearby. I absolutely recommend riad accommodation when in Morocco and this riad worked well. Medina area itself can be a bit challenging place and it is easy to get lost without offline google map.
Bradford
I stayed here with my husband for for nights. The central location is ideal for The souk and the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh, yet inside the Riad is quiet and peaceful. The staff are brilliantly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble anytime of day. They will always recommend somewhere to visit. They also arranged airport transfers €20. This was a very welcome extra for us.We chose to eat here on our 1st night and the food is simple and tasty as was the included breakfast. In summary we found Riad Kenzo to be simple, friendly, uncomplicated, comfortable and beautiful. We would recommend to anyone looking for a similar experience.

5 stars honestly isn’t enough for this place. The most amazing riad we stayed in in all of Morocco and Abdul was a huge part of that. He arranged our entire trip for us to utilize our time better and we wouldn’t have gotten to see the Sahara is it wasn’t for him. He made us feel right at home from the second we walked in. Always prepared us breakfast no matter what time we woke up and always there to guide us and chat to us at night around the fire. The rest of the staff were also wonderful and extremely welcoming and good to chat to. Really good fun! Location wise it was brilliant! Close to the square (10 min walk) but quiet at night. Rooms were also beautiful and SOO comfy. We’re going to return to Marrakesh again on our last night to stay here!

An almost perfect retreat from the crazy city. Stayed with two of my friends, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast and tea was spot on.The riad is based in a great location as well, despite being in the Medina and among the market streets, it’s a really relaxed part of the city and going into the riad was like entering your own sanctuary from the city.Would highly recommend!
Zurich
We stayed in this Riad for all together 5 nights. We felt very welcome because of the very friendly staff and the beautiful Riad. The Breakfast and the Dinner (Couscous) cooked by the very friendly and talented kitchen staff was also amazing. The Hammam/Massages offered by the Riad are also very well and relaxing.I would recommend the Riad Kenzo again anytime! :-)
Very cosy, clean and friendly hotel in the heart of the Medina. Nice looking rooms and a great rooftop-terasse. The staff is really friendly and makes everything to feel you well during your stay. Good value for a quiet and happy stay at Marrakech.
Lovely place and the most fantastic staff! So friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. I would recommend to have the breakfast at the riad. It's a small place so it is nice meeting the other people at the riad ist the breakfast.Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Stafford
Beautifully decorated riad which is about 10 minutes away from the main square. It's easy enough to find and is a peaceful place to be after being in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech all day. We stayed here for four nights. The staff were lovely and really helpful booking taxis for us. Our room was spotless and really comfy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, comfy place to stay in Marrakech.

Me and my mum stayed here in January 2017 for 4 nights. The staff were amazing they really helped us and gave us loads of information on how to get around and they also arranged for transfers to and from the airport. The breakfast was really good considering it was only 5 euros. We had homemade yogurt, two different kinds of pancakes, chocolate cake, tea, orange juice, bread etc. The riad itself is very central and right in the market, when we first arrived we were not sure where we were going as it was down a dark alley, but once you go through the doors you get the riad/Moroccan vibe. The riad was very traditional and had a lovely small pool/breakfast area in the middle. Our room was a simple double one on the ground floor next to the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. Although outside our bathroom was the breakfast area and as the window had no glass and was wooden with small holes, I am pretty sure they could here us use the bathroom in the mornings and also you could see outside through the small holes. I would recommend when booking asking for a higher level room.Overall for the price we payed it was great
Together with my mom and sister we stayed here for 3 nights and we had the best time. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is really good and a lot. And of course our friend Yasin made the trip complete he was very helpful and really made us feel like home!! Only thing is that the sign of the riad is not easy to find. It’s only ridden down on the wall , maybe they should make a bigger sign. We had the best time .

So after an iffy start to our Moroccan adventure we managed to grab one night here, our host Yussain was brilliant and very accommodating, he was eager to assist in whatever we needed. We booked the on site Hammam and Massge which was amazing as we got to experience the Hammam together, the lady that does it works tirelessly here, I saw her first thing cleaning rooms then she was in the kitchen and finally working herself so hard to please us in the Hammam. My only negative was the cost of breakfast at 100 Dirham for 1 person I felt was a little excessive for a few pancakes, croissants and bananas
Me and my wife recently stayed at theriad for 5 nights and we had some wonderful time. The riad is a 300 years old Moroccan-style house which gives you a real taste of what life in Morocco is like. It is located in the medina within a short walk from the major attraction sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to spend sometime in Marrakech there is not better place to stay. However, do some research about what a riad looks like to ensure this is the time of experience you are looking for. It can be very different from western standards however it has all the comforts you may want. It s the right place to experience some true Moroccan life.
Edinburgh
We stayed for a week in September 2016 and we were really pleased with Riad Kenzo. The staff were lovely and helpful and they were always smiling! This is quite an authentic Moroccan riad and the decor was lovely. Breakfast was included every morning and it was very good value.
We visited Riad Kenzo in October 2016 - the place was like a step back in time! Wonderful atmosphere, very clean, yet had an old time charm to it... Breakfast was included and the mint tea was to die for!!! But above all, the staff was SO wonderful! They were extremely helpful at any time of day/night, for any request, and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed! This didn't feel like a hotel, but more like an extension of someone's home!
Leeds
What a little gem this place is, when we read the reviews and saw the cost beforehand it seemed too good to be true. It's not!The staff are great, the building fantastic character, charming rooms, lovely roof terrace. We recommend taking them up on the option of collection from the airport as it's not easy to find at first (nowhere is until you find your bearings in the medina!). Also the 3 course menu is better than food from restaurants in the area and was a great decision that we made to eat there on our first night. It's 10 minutes walk at tops to the main square and even less into the heart of the souks. They can arrange tours too which seems to be better than booking them elsewhere as we did this and others in the riad did it separately and didn't get the same level of service on their trips. We had a great 4 nights here, would 100% recommend staying here over a fancy resort hotel.

The Riad looked like the pictures. The breakfast was good - not a continental one, you get it once you seat; so it's fresh. Swimming pool accessible. The staff was amazing!

I highly recommend this riad. Great location. The riad was very clean. Rest is guaranteed because it was very quiet. This riad offers a wide variety of entertainment for tourists, as well as very tasty food prepared by professionals. The Receptionist was very nice, gave a lot of good information on how to behave when going out in the city. Thank you

Really love the fact that this is a proper riad, it made us really feel to be in Morocco and be amongst the local but still close to the Square, restaurants and pick up points for trips. Ayoub, our host, has really made sure we are looked after and made our first trip to Marakkech enjoyable even though our trips were booked with Booking.com. The picture of the riad is a true reflection of how it really looks like, and would love to stay there again in the future. You can also avail their 3 course meal for €17 each, and its worth it!

Beautiful riad in a great location. Great terrace with view over Marrakech, and delicious breakfast. But the best thing about Riad Kenzo was the warm welcome and the hospitality provided by the staff, in particular Ayoub and Jaber. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our time here. Great location near to everything in a walk. Breakfast is very good. The Riad is very pretty, you can go to the rooftop to catch some sun! We loved it! And the staff is all amazing from the guys in the receptionist to the cleaning ladies. Ayoub at the reception was very nice with us, helping with everything we needed. I would definitely come back!
